Sh Boom은 1954년 뉴욕에서 활동하던 더 코즈(The chords)의 멤버들이 공동 작곡한 곡이다. 이 곡은 단순한 사랑 노래처럼 들리지만, 가사의 표현 방식과 반복되는 Sh Boom이라는 후렴구가 당시로서는 독특한 스타일을 형성했다. 이는 두왑 음악 특유의 감성을 반영하며, 이후 록앤롤 음악의 형성에도 영향을 미쳤다.
