After losing World War 1, the
German Empire, Austria-Hungary,
and Ottoman Empire had lost a huge
amount of territories and were
forced to sign heavy treaties. On the
other hand, Tsarism had come to an
end in Russia during the Bolshevik
Revolution in 1917.
