찬양하라 하늘의 왕

이 곡은 기독교음악사 교회합창 명성가 8권 454-459페이지에 수록된 곡으로, 원 제목은 라틴어로 'Lauda anima'[1], 영문으로는 'Praise, my soul, the King of heaven'이고, 해당 가사는 대한민국에서 통용되는 찬송가의 65장에 대응된다. 또한 작사는 영국의 작가인 헨리 프랜시스 라이트[2]가 시편 103편 1-5, 20-22절을 기반으로 하였고, 작곡은 영국의 오르가니스트이자 지휘자였던 마크 앤드류스[3]가 하였다.[4]
