 메인 페이지에는 검색 기능이 있어 원하는 밈을 쉽게 찾을 수 있다. 그리고 각 문서로 들어가면 그 밈을 대표하는 짤과 함께 자세한 설명이 등록되어 있고, 아래를 보면 최근 등록 이미지와 동영상을 볼 수 있다. [[Yee]]를 예로 들면, 등록 이미지에서 [[디지몬 어드벤처]]와 합성한 짤, employee(고용인)의 끝부분이 yee라는걸 이용한 합성 짤도 올라와 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. [[http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/yee|Yee 문서]]. 맨 아래에는 [[페이스북]] 댓글을 볼 수 있는 기능도 있다.
 말 그대로 "밈"이기 때문에 인간 관악기 수준뿐만 아니라 특정 영화, 애니매이션 시리즈나 단어가 등재될 수도 있다. 필수요소를 좀 더 넓게 포괄하는 정도.

 [[게이머게이트]] 전후로 [[4chan]] 난민들이 몰려들고, [[도날드 트럼프]] 대선때 트럼프는 밈 = 정치뉴스도 밈이란 돌아버린 논리로 정치떡밥을 허용하며 사이트의 수준이 급락했다. 특히 /v/에서 건너온 잡것들이 늘상 하던대로 그 시즌의 [[나의 신부|Waifu]] 짤방을 도배하거나, 자기들만 알아먹는 [[억지 밈]]을 스팸해대서 문제. 한 술 더 떠서 [[컨셉충]]과 [[관심종자]]들까지 몰려들어 사이트 상태는 개판 그 자체.
